Our recently held annual Townhall on 10th May 2023 provided insights into the year that was, and the year that is to come, simultaneously awarding stellar performers. Take a look at some of the event highlights:
Embarking on a fresh vision
We kicked off the event with our Managing Director & CEO Mr. Manivannan, giving a brief overview of his vision for employee welfare, business resilience and unified growth. He shared updates on ongoing initiatives and upcoming projects, & introduced new stakeholders for growing our ‘Cloud Integrated Services’ division. Business Unit leaders of the respective departments offered updates on the 2022-23 highlights, aligning with the company vision for the new financial year. The audience present was deeply motivated by the clarity and key growth areas like AI&ML, SFDC, Embedded, Cloud Infrastructure and Digital Engineering presented by the leadership and are eagerly looking forward to the new year with renewed energy.
Recognizing talent excellence
Multiple awards in different categories were given to our highly talented teams and top performers. Winning the leadership champion award amidst cheerful claps, Mahaganesh C N from PES announced his gratitude and thanks to all present while humbly owing his success to his team, declaring it a joint effort. Abirami D, who belongs to the Digital Solutions team, expressed great joy in receiving her first annual award as a ‘rising star’ for consistently displaying tremendous potential and delivering on her responsibilities. All winners were presented with awards under Leadership Powerhouse, Elevate Champion, Rising Stars and Trailblazers categories, surrounded by deafening cheers and applause. Cross-functional efforts made by teams around took home the Synergy Team trophies, and the housekeeping staff received warm accolades. Seeing their hard work turn fruitful, AES Captive Team won the Best BU Award for 2022-23.
Strengthening the ecosystem
The executive leaders highlighted the significance of a strong business ecosystem and the impact it can have on us. They reinforced that we could accelerate innovation and enhance our collective success by working as a team, supporting one another, and fostering an environment conducive to business growth. There are also significant steps taken towards bolstering our L&D, sales focus, geographical expansions and adding more competencies to serve a wide range of customers, across and deeper.
Our strength lies in the diversity and talents of each individual and the collective expertise we hold as a group company to expand on our opportunities. As we move forward, let’s remember to bring these X factors together and prioritize the well-being, needs and aspirations of our people who make it happen.
